Chocolate cream fingers recipe details
Ingredients
120 g | butter, softened |
90 g | sugar |
140 g | flour |
1 medium | egg |
1 tbsp | cocoa |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
icing sugar, for dusting | |
For the chocolate icing: | |
100 g | sugar |
3 tbsp | butter, melted |
90 ml | milk |
170 g | chocolate chips |
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg. Add flour, cocoa and salt and form a stiff dough.Pipe the mixture in equal lengths onto a greased baking tray. Preheat oven to 180°C.
Bake for 10-15 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar or dip the ends in chocolate icing.
Icing:
Combine all ingredients except chocolate in a saucepan over low high heat. Stir constantly until melted. Bring to a boil for 1 minute, still stirring.
Remove from heat and add in chocolate. Stir until completely melted.
