Chocolate cheesecake recipe details
Ingredients
125 g | butter, melted |
225 g | flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
250 g | sugar |
2 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
2 tbsp | instant cocoa |
2 medium | eggs |
200 g | cream cheese |
250 g | whipping cream |
250 g | curd cheese |
30 g | cornstarch |
300 g | dark chocolate |
25 g | copha (solid coconut oil) |
Instructions
In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, 100g sugar, 1 vanilla sugar and cocoa Pour in the melted butter. Knead until the dough is well combined.Line a greased springform pan with the dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Whisk the eggs with 150g sugar and the other vanilla sugar. Whisk in cream cheese, curd cheese, cornstarch and 50g of the cream. Spread the mixture on the cake base and bake for an hour. Allow to cool down, then remove from the springform pan.
Roughly chop the chocolate. Gently heat the remaining cream with the chocolate and copha and stir until the chocolate has melted.
Coat the cake with the mixture and let dry.
