Chili beef soup recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | minced beef |
2 medium | onions, finely chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
450 g | kidney beans, rinsed |
450 g | canned tomatoes, undrained |
120 ml | water |
2 tsp | chili powder |
¼ tsp | cumin, ground |
1 | bay leaf |
pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Cook beef in a saucepan over medium heat until browned. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender, keep stirring to separate meat.Stir in beans, undrained tomatoes, soup, water, chili powder, cumin, pepper and bay leaf and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover, and cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf.
Ladle soup into bowls.
