Chile cheese grits recipe details
- Ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1-1/2 cups grits, uncooked
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 pound longhorn cheese
- Dash Tabascopepper sauce
- Dash paprika
- 1/2 cup butter
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- One 4-ounce can chopped green chiles, drained
Preheat oven at 250 degrees. Bring water to boil and cook grits according to directions on box. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Bake in 9 x 12-inch dish for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. May be prepared ahead and refrigerated. Serve with ham slices and biscuits.
