Chicken Curry recipe

Ingredients
1 kg | chicken breast, cut into pieces |
2 large | onions, chopped |
3 tbsp | freshly grated coconut |
1 tbsp | garlic paste |
1 tbsp | ginger paste |
2 tsp | coriander powder |
1 tsp | cumin powder |
1 tsp | garam masala powder |
½ tsp | tumeric powder |
3 tbsp | vegetable oil |
240 ml | coconut milk |
2 | green chilies, chopped, optional |
2 large | potatoes, diced |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine onion, coconut, ginger, garlic and powdered spices in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
Heat oil in a deep pan and add the paste. Cook until the oil begins to separate from the paste.
Add chicken and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add coconut milk, green chilies and potatoes. Season with salt and stir well. Cook until the chicken and potatoes are tender.
