Chicken breasts with mushroom garlic and balsamic vinegar sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | chicken breasts, boneless, diced |
200 g | mushrooms, chopped |
2 tbsp | flour |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
6 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
100 ml | balsamic vinegar |
180 ml | chicken broth |
¼ tsp | thyme |
1 tbsp | butter |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Season flour with salt and pepper. Toss chicken in the seasoned flour.Heat oil in a saucepan over medium and and brown the chicken. Add garlic and mushrooms and continue cooking, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes.
Add vinegar, broth and thyme. Cover and continue cooking for 10 minutes.
Transfer chicken to plate and keep warm. Cook mushrooms with the sauce uncovered for 7 minutes. Add butter and stir.
To serve, pour mushrooms and sauce over chicken.
