Chestnut Soup with Bacon recipe

|700 g||chestnuts, shelled|
|½ bulb(s)||fresh celeríac, chopped|
|1 l||chicken stock|
|salt and pepper|
|100 g||bacon, chopped|
|5 slice(s)||white bread|
Roast chestnuts in a pan with melted butter. Add the celeriac and cook stirring for 5 minutes. Deglaze with the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes or until the chestnuts are soft. Add the cream and purée with a hand blender. Season to taste with salt, pepper and paprika.
Cut the white bread into cubes and fry in a pan with butter until golden and crispy. In another pan, fry the bacon until crispy.
Serve the soup sprinkled with the croûtons and the bacon.
