Chestnut and Pumpkin Sauce recipe
Ingredients
250 g | pumpkin, peeled and cleaned |
50 g | butter |
500 g | chestnuts, shelled |
200 ml | vegetable stock |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Chop the pumpkin and fry in a pan with butter. Then add the chestnuts and sauté together. Deglaze with vegetable stock and simmer for 20 minutes or until pumpkin and chestnuts are soft.
Purée with a hand blender and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with poultry or venison.
