Ingredients
80 g | butter, softened |
180 g | sugar |
1 packet(s) | vanilla sugar |
5 | egg yolks |
200 g | flour |
½ packet(s) | baking powder |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
3 tbsp | milk |
100 g | hazelnut, grated |
5 | egg whites |
350 g | cherries, drained |
icing sugar |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.Combine the flour and the baking powder in a large bowl, add 90g sugar, the vanilla sugar, grated hazelnuts, salt, milk, soft butter and egg yolks and knead until well combined. Whisk the egg whites with the other 90g of sugar until stiff and fold in the dough.
Grease a 26cm spring tin. Pour in the dough and divide the well drained cherries on top. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes.
Dust with icing sugar.
