Cherry jam with marzipan recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | cherries, pitted |
75 g | marzipan, grated |
250 g | jam sugar |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
25 g | almond flakes, toasted |
Instructions
In a saucepan mix the cherries with marzipan, cinnamon and the sugar. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.Bring to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes, adding the almond flakes in the last few seconds.
Fill into sterilized jars. Seal with screw caps and allow to cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
