Cherry Jam with Marzipan recipe

|500 g||cherries, pitted|
|75 g||marzipan, grated|
|250 g||jam sugar|
|25 g||almond flakes, toasted|
In a saucepan mix the cherries with marzipan, cinnamon and the sugar. Allow to soak for 30 minutes.
Bring to a boil. Boil for 4 minutes, adding the almond flakes in the last few seconds.
Fill into sterilized jars. Seal with screw caps and allow to cool. Store in a cool and dark place.
