Cheesy meatballs recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | minced meat |
1 small | onion, chopped |
50 g | bread crumbs |
150 g | Parmesan cheese, grated |
3 tbsp | ketchup |
1 tbsp | fresh parsley, chopped |
4 leaves | basil |
¾ tsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 large | egg |
½ tsp | garlic powder |
1 tsp | salt, to taste |
olive oil, for cooking |
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef, onion, breadcrumbs, cheese, ketchup, parsley, basil, salt, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Stir gently to combine. Stir in the egg and mix well until just incorporated.Shape the meat mixture into balls, to make about 60 meatballs.
Heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium heat. Add meatballs in batches and cook until lightly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
