Ingredients
500 g | minced meat |
1 | onion, chopped |
Worcestersauce | |
salt and pepper | |
4 | hamburger buns, halved |
4 slice(s) | cheese |
2 | tomatoes, sliced |
4 leaves | lettuce |
3 tbsp | oil |
4 tbsp | sandwich spread, BBQ sauce or ketchup |
2 tsp | mustard |
4 slice(s) | cucumber or gherkin |
Instructions
Mix together the minced meat and the onion. Season with Worcestersauce, salt and pepper. Knead well and shape 4 hamburger patties.
In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the patties from both sides for about 4 minutes. When the patties are browned, top with the cheese slices and continue to cook, until the cheese has almost melted.
Spread the lower halves of the buns with mustard and e.g. sandwich spread. Layer with lettuce leaves, the patties with the cheese and finish with tomato and cucumber slices.
Cover with the upper halves and serve immediately.
