Cheese mashed potatoes recipe details
Ingredients
12 medium | baking potatoes, about 2 – 3 kg |
250 g | cream cheese |
250 ml | sour cream |
8 tbsp | butter |
¼ tsp | garlic powder |
¼ tsp | pepper, freshly ground |
120 g | Cheddar cheese, grated |
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and cook them for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Drain off liquid.In a large mixing bowl, combine the potatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, butter, garlic powder, and pepper. Beat the mixture with an electric mixer till fluffy and then put mixture into a buttered casserole or baking dish. Top with the shredded Cheddar cheese.
Bake covered at 180°C for about 45 minutes.
