Champagne mustard recipe details
Ingredients
500 ml | Champagne |
2 medium | onions, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
115 ml | dry mustard |
2 tbsp | honey |
1 bottle(s) | vegetable oil |
2 tsp | salt |
Instructions
Combine champagne, onion and garlic in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn down heat and cook on a simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.Place dry mustard in another pan and slowly add cool wine mixture. Stir continuously and belnd in honey, oil and salt. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and pour into jars. Cover tightly and chill for at least 48 hours.
