Ingredients

600 g carrots
1 bunch(es) parsley
1 bunch(es) dill
1 tbsp flour
2  eggs
1 tbsp soft butter
salt and pepper
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground coriander
½ tsp marjoram
1 pinch(es) sugar
100 ml oil for frying
For the sauce:
2 clove(s) garlic
300 g yoghurt
3 tbsp sunflower oil
salt and paprika powder, to taste

Instructions

Peel the carrots and finely grate into a bowl. Finely chop the parsley and dill and add into the bowl. Stir in the flour, then add the eggs and mix well. Finally fold in the butter and season with the condiments.

Shape the mixture into balls and flatten. Place into hot oil, switch down the heat and fry over low heat from both sides until browned and crispy. Add more oil, if necessary.

For the sauce press the garlic into the yoghurt and season to taste with salt. In a skillet, heat oil and stir in the paprika powder. Take from heat and stir the oil paprika mixture into the yoghurt.

Serve the carrot fritters with the yoghurt sauce.
