Candlewick b&b quiche recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 PillsburyReady-Prepared pie crust
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups half & half
- Salt and pepper to taste (just sprinkle)
- 1 teaspoon sugar, optional
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/3 cup chopped onion (sauteed, optional)
- 4 to 6 strips of cooked, crisp, crumbled bacon OR 1 box frozen chopped spinach (cooked according to directions and squeeze dry)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Lay pie crust in a 9 inch pie plate, crimp edges, and set aside. Whisk together eggs, half & half, salt, pepper, and sugar. Set aside. Sauté onion and sprinkle shredded cheese, onion, and bacon (or spinach) on bottom of crust. Pour egg mixture over all.
Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Lower oven to 300 degrees and continue baking for 30 minutes or until set. Let sit for 10 minutes before slicing.
