Ingredients
Serves: 4- 8 bacon strips, cooked partially
- 4 pan-dressed trout (about 1 lb. each)
- 8 lemon slices
- 2 small onions, halved and sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 8 (20×18-inch) stretches of aluminum foil
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Preheat grill to Medium.
2. Double-stack the foil so each trout packet will have two layers around it. Stuff each trout with lemon and onions, season with salt and pepper, wrap with bacon, and enclose with the foil. Make sure edges are sealed.
3. Grill for about 20 to 25 minutes, with the lid closed, until fish is cooked through.
