Buttery Lemon Bars recipe

- Crust Ingredients:
- 1-1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- grated peel of 1 lemon
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients for crust and mix until crumbly. Press into bottom of 8 x 8-inch pan. Bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Combine all filling ingredients and beat until well mixed. Pour filling over hot crust and bake 15 to 20 minutes, until filling sets. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cool before cutting into bars.
