Brussels Sprouts with Chestnuts recipe

|1 lb||Brussels sprouts|
Score the chestnuts around the middle and place on baking sheet. Bake in a preheated moderate oven 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4, for 10 minutes. When cool enough to handle, peel the chestnuts.
Cook the sprouts in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a shallow pan. Add the chestnuts and fry briskly, turning, for 2 minutes.
Drain the sprouts and place them in a serving dish. Add the chestnuts and butter, season with salt and serve immediately.
