Broccoli flan recipe details
Ingredients
350 g | broccoli, cooked, chopped |
180 g | flour |
50 g | porridge oats |
100 g | butter |
3 medium | eggs |
300 ml | milk |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 190°C.Combine the flour, oats and 1 pinch of salt in a bowl. Rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add enough cold water to form a firm dough.
Roll out the pastry on a lightly floured surface and use to line a 23cm flan dish. Bake at for 10-15 minutes, until lightly brown.
Arrange cooked and drained broccoli in the flan case.
Whisk together the eggs, milk and season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour into the flan case to cover the broccoli.
Bake for about 40 minutes, until set.
