Breaded ham and cheese rolls recipe details
Ingredients
200 g | cooked ham, sliced |
150 g | Cheddar cheese, in 4cm x 1cm sticks |
250 ml | sour cream |
1 | egg |
1 tbsp | milk |
salt and pepper | |
breadcrumbs | |
clarified butter |
Instructions
Put ever 2 ham slices on top of each other. Place a cheese stick in the middle of each and roll up the ham.Break the egg into a soup plate, add the milk and whisk slightly with a fork. In another plate fill the breadcrumbs. Turn the ham rolls first in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. In a large pan, heat the clarified butter. Fry the rolls until golden brown and crispy all around. Drain on kitchen paper.
Season the sour cream with salt and pepper.
Serve the rolls with the sour cream and fresh white bread.
