- Ingredients
- 6 pounds beef short ribs
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 carrot, minced
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 cup minced celery
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 4 whole cloves
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 cans Chalet Suzanne® French Onion Soup
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and pepper the short ribs. Place in shallow baking pan and brown in 400 degree oven for at least 30 minutes. Lower oven to 350 degrees. Drain fat from pan, and add carrot, onion, celery, garlic, wine, cloves, bay leaves, soup, marjoram and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and bake at 350 degrees until very tender.
