It’s a whiskey negroni, really. I prefer rye to bourbon, but it’s good either way. I also prefer a little more whiskey than an even split across the board. If I go with bourbon, I cut back to ¾ ounce on the sweet vermouth.
Ready in: 5 mins
- 1.5 ounces bourbon or rye whiskey
- 1 ounce Campari
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- Twist of lemon
Prep: 5 mins
1. Chill a martini glass in the freezer. Add ice to a cocktail pitcher. Pour in whiskey, Campari, and sweet vermouth. Stir, then strain into the martini glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
