Bonfire warmer recipe details
Ingredients
1 | carrot, sliced |
1 | onion, sliced |
4 | rashers bacon |
15 g | butter |
1 tsp | curry powder |
30 g | plain flour |
500 ml | milk |
150 ml | chicken or vegetable stock |
Instructions
Put the butter in a frying pan and gently sauté the carrot, onion and bacon for about 10 minutes or until softened.Stir in the curry powder and flour and cook for 2 minutes.
Gradually add the milk and stock stirring continuously until the soup thickens, bring to a boil and keep stirring until smooth.
Serve with bread.
