Blueberry waffles recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | blueberries, frozen |
125 ml | milk, reduced-fat |
100 g | flour, all purpose |
50 g | oats, quick-cooking |
75 g | flour, whole wheat |
1 large | egg(s), beaten |
2 tbsp | oil, vegetable |
3 tsp | baking powder |
¼ tsp | salt |
Instructions
Before preparing the batter already heat waffle iron and use butter for coating.Take a large bowl and mix together flours, oats, baking powder and salt.
In another large bowl mix together milk, vegetable oil and egg.
Now stir the contents of both bowls together until large lumps are no longer there. Fold in blueberries.
To make waffles use medium heat and bake waffles until golden brown (or until preferred taste)
Syrup, butter or powdered sugar all go very well with them. A blueberry syrup also tastes very nice.
