Blanche dubois' pecan pie recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup red Karocorn syrup
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans (for filling and topping)
- 1 unbaked pie shell

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Add corn syrup, salt, and vanilla and continue to beat. Add pecans to filling (or place on top of pie). Pour filling into pie shell and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
