Black pasta with fried tuna and bell pepper salad recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | black pasta |
1 | shallot, chopped |
3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 | red bell peppers, peeled and diced |
1 | yellow bell pepper, peeled and diced |
1 bunch(es) | basil, chopped |
3 tbsp | sherry vinegar |
100 ml | olive oil |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
600 g | fresh tuna, cut in 8 slices |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the vinegar and 2/3 of the oil. Stir in the shallots, 1/3 of the garlic and the bell peppers. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Allow to soak until the pasta is cooked.Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Preheat the oven to 80°C.
Season the fish with salt and pepper. In a pan, heat the remaining oil and the garlic. Fry the tuna slices over high heat from both sides for a minute. Place into the oven for 5 minutes.
Drain the cooked pasta. Divide the pasta onto the serving plates and serve topped with the tuna and together with the salad.
