Bell pepper and mushroom lasagna recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | minced meat |
250 g | sheets of lasagna |
1 glass(es) | mushrooms, sliced |
2 | red bell peppers, diced |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
salt and pepper | |
150 ml | single cream |
100 g | Crème fraîche |
1 can(s) | tomato puree |
250 g | freshly grated cheese |
250 ml | vegetable stock |
2 tbsp | basil, chopped |
1 tsp | oregano |
½ tsp | thyme |
1 tsp | paprika powder |
some | chili powder |
½ tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tbsp | butter |
Instructions
Mix together the mince, onion and garlic. In a saucepan, heat the butter and fry the mince over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until browned and crumbly. Add the mushrooms and the bell peppers. Cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato purée and cook for 2-3 minutes. Pour in the stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and stir in the cream, crème fraîche, basil, oregano and thyme. Season to taste with paprika powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and chili powder and cook for some more minutes.Preheat the oven to 180° C.
In a buttered casserole dish, cover the bottom with some of the sauce, then layer in turn lasagna sheets and sauce, until all is used up. The last layer should be sauce.
Sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for 30-40 minutes.
