Banana scones recipe details
Ingredients
1 medium | banana, ripe |
200 g | flour |
150 g | sugar |
2 tbsp | baking powder |
½ tsp | baking soda |
¼ tsp | salt |
60 g | unsalted butter |
1 large | egg |
1 tsp | vanilla |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Grease a cookie baking tray.
In a bowl combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the butter and mix until crumbly.
In a separate bowl combine the banana, the egg and vanilla.
Blend both mixtures together.
Separate dough into two circles and cut into wedges. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
