Banana Doughnuts recipe

Ingredients
200 g | granulated sugar |
30 g | shortening |
2 medium | eggs |
4 | bananas, mashed |
5 tsp | vanilla extract |
120 ml | buttermilk |
400 g | flour, all-purpose |
4 tsp | baking soda |
½ tsp | salt |
1 tsp | nutmeg |
Instructions
Sift together shortening and sugar. Beat eggs in a separate bowl and set aside.
Combine the mashed bananas, vanilla extract and buttermilk. Add to egg mixture alternating with sifted dry ingredients.
Roll dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut into desired pieces and let stand for 15 minutes.
Fry each doughnut in frying oil until golden brown.
