Ingredients
800 g | Assorted Vegetables: |
leeks | |
broccoli | |
onions | |
cauliflower | |
White Sauce: | |
300 ml | milk |
30 g | butter |
30 g | plain flour |
1 tsp | mustard |
1 clove(s) | garlic |
1 pinch(es) | nutmeg, ground |
Topping: | |
50 g | cheese, grated |
Instructions
Cook, boil or steam the vegetables until just cooked. Drain and set aside.Preheat oven to 180°C.
Making the White Sauce:
Put all ingredients for the white sauce in a pan and heat gently, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens, approxi8mately 10 minutes. Then liquidize in a blender. Season well.
Preparing the dish:
Stir the vegetables into the sauce.
Spoon into an ovenproof dish. Sprinkle on the grated cheese and bake until browned for approximately 15-20 minutes.
