Baked stuffed fish recipe details
Ingredients1. Fish fillets (1 1/2 to 2pounds)
2. finely chopped celery (1/2c)
3. salt (1tsp)
4. ground pepper (1/8tsp)
5. chopped parsley (for topping)
6. lemon wedges (optional)
7. dry bread, cut or torn into 1/4 inch pieces (4c)
8. dried leaf sage, crumbled (1tsp)
9. melted butter (6tbsp)
10. finely chopped onion (1/2c)
Method of preparation
1. Take fish, cut it into strips. Line the well greased muffins with fish strips, sprinkle with salt.
2. Take a small frying pan, heat butter in it and then Saute the onion and celery in the butter until they get tender. Add salt, pepper, bread cubes and sage. Add a little of hot water if the stuffing is too dry.
3. Dot the top of each stuffing center with a little butter and then sprinkle with chopped parsley.
4. Bake the fish for 30 minutes at 350 degrees until the fish gets flakes easily with a fork. When it gets ready then serve it with lemon wedges.
