Baked onion recipe details
Ingredients
4 large | onions, peeled |
60 g | butter |
180 g | Parmesan cheese, grated |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 200°C.Cut each onion into eighths, cutting just to the root, but not through, so that it is still one whole onion.
Place each onion on a lightly greased square of foil and press pieces of butter into the middle of the onions. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and cheese.
Wrap foil all around each onion and place in a baking pan. Bake for about 1 hour.
