Baked fruit dessert recipe details
Ingredients
450 g | apricot halves, pitted, halved |
450 g | pear halves, pitted, halved |
400 g | plums, pitted, halved |
200 g | pineapple slices, undrained |
70 g | brown sugar |
1 tbsp | butter |
½ tsp | cinnamon, ground |
¼ tsp | cloves, ground |
Instructions
Arrange rows of fruit in a baking pan: half of the apricots, pears and plums, all of the peaches, then remaining apricots, pears and plums. Drain pineapple, reserving 120 ml of the juice. Lay pineapple slices over fruit in pan.In a saucepan, combine the pineapple juice, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and cloves. Cook, whilst stirring, for about 3 minutes. Pour over fruit.
Preheat oven to 170°C.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
