Baked fish with spinach stuffing recipe details
IngredientsFor spinach
1. Fresh cooked spinach (1/2c)
2. butter (4tbsp)
3. salt (1/2tsp)
4. ground pepper (1/2tsp)
5. lemon juice (1/4tsp)
6. cream (2-4tsp)
7. fresh bread crumbs (2 1/2c)
8. chopped shallots (3tbsp)
For fish 1. Whitefish (4-5) 2. white wine 3. melted butter (2tbsp)
Method of preparation
1. Take spinach, wash it and squeeze it dry. Tale a stainless steel pan, melt butter in it and cook shallots in it. Add spinach and cook it over high heat to evaporate moisture.
2. Take a bowl, add bread crumbs, lemon juice, cream, salt and pepper and mix then well. Now take fish, wash and dry it . Stuff it with spinach and lace with string. Apply the melted butter.
3. Place the fish on foil folded so the fish may lift off pan. Melt butter and white wine in the pan. Baste the fish for about 5 to 7 minutes. Cook it in an oven for about 40 to 45 minutes at 400 degrees.
4. Take out the fish from the oven, reduce the sauce and pour it over the fish. Now serve it with hollandaise sauce.
