Bailey s toffee recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | butter |
60 ml | Bailey’s Irish Cream |
130 g | white sugar |
1 tbsp | vanilla extract |
Instructions
Melt butter with Bailey’s in a medium sized saucepan over low heat. When the butter has melted add sugar. Increase heat, whilst stirring constantly.Using a candy thermometer, heat mixture to 150°C (if you do not have a candy thermometer, cook mixture until it starts to brown slightly).
Then remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Continue to stir for approximately 3 minutes. Toffee will start to smooth out.
Pour into a dish lined with tin foil. Allow to cool and harden. Break into pieces to serve.
