- Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1-2/3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs, 1 at a time. Add lemon juice and vanilla. Sift flour and add until well mixed. Bake in ungreased loaf pan 50 to 60 minutes at 325 degrees. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before “turning out”.
