Asparagus topped with crab recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh asparagus, par-boiled
- 2 Tablespoons chopped green pepper
- 1 Tablespoon chopped onion
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 12 ounces crab meat
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Place asparagus in a 1-1/2 quart shallow baking dish. In a frying pan, saute the green pepper and onion in butter. In a mixing bowl, combine yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, tarragon, and lemon juice. Add the green pepper, onion, and crab meat. Pour mixture over the asparagus and sprinkle with Parmesan. Bake in a 400-degree oven for 30 minutes.
