Asia Style Deep Fried Fruit recipe
Ingredients
40 g | cornflour |
60 g | flour |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1 medium | egg |
125 ml | sparkling water |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
3 tbsp | cocoa powder |
2 | ripe mangos, peeled and diced |
2 | bananas, peeled and diced |
oil for deep-frying |
Instructions
Sieve the cornflour, flour and baking powder into a bowl. Whisk in the egg and stir in the water, vanilla sugar and the cocoa powder. Allow to soak for 20 minutes.
Turn the fruits in the dough and make sure they are well coated.
In a deep pan heat the oil. Deep-fry the fruits until golden and crispy. Drain on kitchen paper and serve e.g. with vanilla sauce.
