Asia style chicken breast recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | chicken breast, sliced |
4 tbsp | teriyaki sauce |
1 tbsp | ginger, grated |
2 medium | red bell pepper, diced |
2 medium | courgette, diced |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 large | onion, chopped |
1 tsp | red curry paste |
600 ml | vegetable stock |
1 tbsp | Chinese five-spice powder |
some | salt and pepper |
1 tbsp | corn starch |
1 tbsp | water |
3 tbsp | sesame oil |
1 tbsp | soy sauce |
Instructions
Mix together the teriyaki sauce, ginger and 1 tsp of the five-spice powder. Add the chicken and marinate for 2 hours.In a wok, heat the oil and stir-fry the chicken until golden brown. Remove from the wok and set aside. Stir in the vegetables and the curry paste and sauté for 4 minutes. Pour in the stock and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and season to taste with soy sauce and five-spice powder. Return the chicken. Mix together the water and the corn starch and stir in. Bring to a short boil again.
Serve with rice.
