- Ingredients
- 4 Golden Delicious or Granny Smith apples – peeled, cored, and diced (about 2 cups)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1-1/2 cups sugar
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter at room temperature
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Ice cream or whipped cream for serving
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix together the apples, raspberries, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Spread evenly in a greased 10-inch cake pan. In a medium bowl, knead together the butter, remaining sugar, and flour until crumbly. Sprinkle over the fruit. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
