Ingredients
For the filling | |
12 | Braeburn apples |
100 g | raisins |
120 g | sugar |
4 cl | rum |
6 tsp | cinnamon, ground |
For the pastry | |
400 g | flour, type 405 |
250 g | sugar |
250 g | butter |
pinch(es) | salt |
2 medium | eggs |
For brushing: | |
1 medium | egg |
Instructions
For the fillingPeel and core the apples. Then slice them. Add the other ingredients and stir well. Let it rest for at least 4 hours.
For the pastry
Beat all the ingredients until you have a ball of pastry. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
Grease a springform and preheat the oven to 180°C.
Roll out the pastry, 3 cm thick, and cover the base and sides with 2/3 of the pastry.
Put the filling in the springform.
Make from 1/3 of the pastry small stripes and put them on the filling, diagonally.
Beat the egg and brush it on the pastry stripes.
Bake for 45-60 minutes.
