Apple fritters recipe details
- Ingredients
- Flour tortillas
- Mixture of sugar and cinnamon (1/3 cup sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon)
- Melted butter
- Fried apples – in a can
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut tortillas (each round tortilla into 6 wedges). Brush cut tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake at 375 degrees about 5 to 8 minutes or until crisp and lightly browned.
Drain canned apples and place in saucepan. Add small amount of butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar to taste. Heat until hot.
Serve apples in a ramekin on a small plate and surround ramekin with tortilla chips for dunking. Serve each couple 7 or 8 tortillas and small serving of apples as an appetizer for breakfast. Yummy!
