Apple cinnamon cookies recipe details
I invented this recipe to make do with what I had on hand one day. I didn’t have flour or eggs, so decided to try making a cookie using cornstarch that still had a good texture, and these came out surprisingly good.

Ingredients
Makes: 2 1/2 dozen- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup dark brown sugar
- 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 tsp. apple juice
- 1½ cups cornstarch
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- ½ tsp. nutmeg
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. white wine vinegar
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 12 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and dark brown sugar. Mix in the apple sauce and apple juice.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Combine with the wet ingredients, then mix in the white wine vinegar.
4. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 12-14 mins.
