Almond topped cod fish recipe details
Ingredients1. Cod fish fillets, fresh or frozen (4 about 6 ounce)
2. stick margarine or butter (1tbsp)
3. grated parmesan cheese (1/4c)
4. pepper (1/4tsp)
5. dill weed (1/2tsp)
6. seasoned salt (1tsp)
7. thinly sliced onion (1small)
8. sliced almonds, toasted (2tbsp)
9. lemon juice (1tbsp)
10. minced fresh parsley (1tbsp)
11. fat free mayonnaise (1/4c)
Method of preparation
1. Take a baking dish of 13*9*2 inch, place butter on it. Place the baking dish in oven at 400 degrees F until the butter gets melted. Then spread the butter equally on the bottom of dish and now cover the butter with thinly sliced onions.
2. Place the fish fillets over the onion slices and then dust pepper, dill and salt over it. Take a bowl, mix parsley, mayonnaise, parmesan and lemon juice in it and then spread this mixture over the fish.
3. Now place the baking dish uncovered in the oven and bake fish for about 18 to 20 minutes until it gets flake easily with fork at 400 degrees F.
4. Then take out the dish from oven and transfer fish into a serving dish. Now dust the toasted and sliced almonds over the fish and serve it.
