Almond and oat cookies recipe details
Ingredients
125 g | butter |
180 g | sugar |
1 medium | egg |
½ | lemon, zested |
200 g | oats |
½ pack(s) | baking powder |
20 | almonds |
flour |
Instructions
Melt the butter. Stir in the sugar, lemon zest and the egg. Sprinkle with the oats and the baking powder. Knead until well combined. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface. Form a roll. Cool for 30 minutes.Cook the almonds in water. Drain, peel and half the almonds. Slice the roll.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Arrange the slices onto a lined baking tray and top with almond halves. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
