Ingredients
450 g | soft butter |
375 g | sugar |
50 g | hazelnut brittle, crushed |
salt | |
535 g | flour |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
6 medium | eggs |
1 pack(s) | baking powder |
150 ml | advocaat |
4 | apples, peeled, cored and sliced |
1 tbsp | lemon juice |
Instructions
Mix together 200g of the butter, 125g of the sugar, the brittle, a pinch of salt and 450g of the flour. Knead with your fingertips to crumbles. Set aside.
In a bowl, combine the remaining butter and sugar, a pinch of salt and the vanilla sugar. Mix in the eggs. Sift in the remaining flour and the baking powder. Stir in the liqueur. Whisk until well combined.
Preheat the oven to 175°C. Pour the batter into a buttered baking tray and flatten. Sprinkle the apples with the lemon juice. Divide the apple slices on top of the batter and sprinkle evenly with the crumbles. Bake for 40-50 minutes.
