Banana sausage omelet recipe, recipe Rating: 4.6

Ingredients
1/4 pound bulk sausage meat
1/4 cup diced green pepper
1 banana, sliced
1 Tablespoon butter
4 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Instructions:

In skillet or baking pan brown sausage, breaking up with a fork as it cooks. Add green pepper and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in bananas and cook until just heated through, about 1 minute. Spoon mixture into a bowl and set aside. Melt butter in skillet. Heat until bubbly. In bowl beat eggs with water, salt, and pepper. Pour into skillet and make an omelet. Spoon sausage mixture over half the omelet. Turn half over and slide out of pan onto heated serving dish. Garnish with sliced bananas.

Serves: 2
