Ingredients

200 g black olives, pitted
200 g green olives, pimento stuffed
3 slice(s) lemon
3  dried red chili peppers
2 clove(s) garlic, crushed
1 tbsp mustard seeds
1 tbsp black peppercorns
3  allspice berries
extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

Drain any brine from the olives and put the olives into a bowl. Add the lemon slices, chilies, garlic, mustard seeds, peppercorns and allspice berries. Add olive oil until all is covered. Spoon the mixture into a large jar with a tight-fitting lid. Screw on the lid tightly and turn the jar over several times to ensure the ingredients are well mixed.

Let the olives marinate at least for 1 week before serving. Turn over the jar several times a day. Store up to 6 months on a cool place.
