Wine fruit dessert recipe details
Ingredients
8 | plums, halved and pitted |
6 | apricots, halved and pitted |
100 g | green grapes, seedless |
150 g | cherries, pitted |
6 | kiwis, halved and peeled |
60 g | gelatine, unflavoured |
120 ml | boiling water |
500 ml | apple juice |
400 ml | sweet wine |
whipped cream or ice cream for serving |
Instructions
Cut fruit in halves, remove pits and peel where applicable.Combine the gelatine and boiling water and stir until the gelatine is completely dissolved.
In a large bowl or jug add the wine and apple juice and stir to combine. Add the liquid with the dissolved gelatine and then gradually mix in the fruit. Stir and place in refrigerator for at least one hour.
When all set, serve in small serving bowls together with whipped cream or ice cream.
